Effective Moisture and Dirt Control
Iron Horse is designed to trap moisture and dirt carried in on footwear. Its dense pile absorbs moisture and captures fine dirt particles between the fibres, helping to keep floors throughout the building drier and cleaner.
A sufficiently large entrance mat helps prevent dirt from spreading further into the building and makes daily cleaning easier.
Durable High-Twist Nylon Pile
The surface of Iron Horse is made from 100% High-Twist Nylon (Polyamide 6). Its durable fibre structure is designed to withstand the daily wear experienced by entrance and corridor mats.
The pile combines excellent moisture absorption with a neat, professional appearance, making Iron Horse suitable for prominent entrances and reception areas.
100 % nitril rubber backing
Iron Horse has a backing made from 100% nitrile rubber. The rubber backing helps keep the mat securely in place and provides a durable foundation for everyday use.
The surrounding rubber border gives the mat a neat, finished edge and helps reduce the risk of tripping.
Easy to keep clean
Iron Horse is designed for easy maintenance. Everyday loose dirt can be removed by shaking or vacuuming the mat.
For more thorough cleaning, the mat can be washed in a commercial washing machine. Regular cleaning helps maintain its moisture absorption and dirt-trapping performance.
Standard Sizes and Custom Orders
Iron Horse is available in several standard sizes. Granite 647 is normally available as a stock colour.
Other colours and sizes are available to order. Custom-made mats can be manufactured in lengths of up to 7 metres.
